Independent Pan African Youth Parliament (IPAYP) is an umbrella body for all civil society organizations in African countries aim at the development and advancement of the African Youth agenda. It is a civil society voice aligned to the Pan African Youth Parliament and the African Youth Commission. As a civil organisation, its sole purpose is to align discussions, thinking and deliberations in line with the African Youth Charter. It stands to represent the African youth on any platform where policies affecting the continent are convened.

IPAYP works in strengthening initiatives for the empowerment of the youths. We invest in leadership developments, promotion of economic empowerment, innovations and skills developments. We also promote actions in countering violent extremism among youths, young women and girls.

The Core Areas of Focus of IPAYP include but are not limited to:
